Nightforce had pkg the wrong scope from the factory, however their customer service is great, now need some sunshine to dry out our range.

we have a .338 in the back room ordered for somebody I want to shoot it SOOO bad

those fish gill muzzle brakes are killers on your ears, I have some of the best hearing protection, when I shot the 06, I could only take it for 3rds, took the brake off and installed the flash hider

do you really even need the break? i mean its a semi auto that will eat a lot... and the things weigh a TON

How much does your Noreen weigh ?

I've had heavier 308 DPMS guns than the Noreen I have on hand right now

its the .338 Lapua, and I'd have to go put a it on a scale which i dont have, i just know that sob is HEAVY... WAY heavier than anything else i've shot. also a giant of rifle

Ok now that I think about it, my cuz has a Rhino .308 Ar platform, that is almost as heavy but not quite.

Maybe you got one of the early models ?

The latest addition to their Bad News lineup is the Long Range Assassin which is 9 lbs.

The "fish gill" muzzle brake is an ear killer however it definitely keeps muzzle rise to a minimum and makes overall felt recoil very manageable.

I'm not a big guy - under 6 foot and under 200 lbs but I was no worse for the wear on mag dumps

I will check on the weight, it is heavy!!
