I have seen several videos on Youtube, looks like a good way to waste ammo. I own a few ARs mainly AR10s in .308, wouldn't even wanna try to attempt it with that, probably good way to loose control of your weapon plus the ammo waste part. thought about trying it with a mini 14, thought better of it.

s&w mp 22 with bumpfire kit sounds like it would be fun. I already have the rifle just waiting for the kits to be back in stock . you get a nice cmc trigger which is worth the price of the kit

You couldn't be more wrong about losing control of your weapon. If that is the case they probably don't need a firearm in the first place. A .45 is harder to handle than a bumpstock on a AR.

I don't need a firearm? I am 61, carried an M-16 full auto in the military, also lucky enough to shoot an M14 on full auto and yes there was lots of barrel rise, one of the main reason the M14 was made select fire and eventually discontinued. I received some of the best firearms/marksmanship training courtesy of the draft, I DO know what I am talking about.

I specifically said "they" and not "you", since I wasn't referring to you as I assumed your comment about the gun getting away from someone wasn't speaking about yourself. I still stand by my statement, a bumpstock is not something that will get out of control nor is it something that should be compared to a full auto as it isnt. Also, precision shooting isn't what the bumpstocks were designed for, nor were they designed to go to war.

automatic fire has always been a waste of ammo, look at the kill ratio in Viet Nam of rounds fired per kill and look at those idiots in the arab world firing "spray and pray". bump fire may be neat to some, but in the end, like I said, a waste of ammo. nowadays with the ammo situation is not the time to piss off ammo.
