Is the technique you were describing in my thread on my attempts to get my Savage 116 to shoot better what is being described in this youtube video?

Much of what he speaks of is what I do and teach. Except that I dont shoot from a bench, I shoot prone. I don't us a bench rest front rest, and I don't use a V bag, I use a bag that is held in the hand. The elbows are flat on the deck or ground. I teach prone if the student is physically able to do so. Shooting prone will let your body absorb recoil and keep you on target when properly executed. Even big, hard recoiling rifles can still be driven to the point that you can witness impact as it happens. That is the goal I have for students is to do everything right hit small, and see the bullet hit as it happens.
