OWB holsters - 03/09/15 10:13 PM
I'm considering an OWB holster for my Glock 19. Anyone have recommendations on a good brand and model?

For carrying around the land Safariland is nice it locks the gun in like a Serpa. The Bianchi is nice for cc.

I prefer the avenger style, a variety of people make them.

I've used Galco for years and then switched to DM Bullard. Almost exclusively use the Bullards. I just received a Gary C's Avenger Leather OWB HOLSTER off of ebay. It is very nice, well made, double stitched, and is the avenger style. In my opinion as nice as the Bullard, but alot less pricey....

Hume, Galco, DeSantis, Bianchi are all top quality for just a good basic leather holster. They use top quality leather, great stitching, do good form fitting.

For leather, I have used Galco and Don Hume and they were both quality holsters. For kydex, I only used a Serpa for OWB.

Depends on use... Safariland or GCode if concealment is not a huge issue. Get comfortable with a system, keep the system the same.
