Shotgun Make Over

I've wanted to convert my 11-87 into a slug gun for a while. So I finally made it happen, I put a 23 inch fully rifled barrel new furniture and a Nikon scope. The only thing I'm not too thrilled on is the scope but that an easy upgrade if I believe the accuracy is poor. I've never had a slug gun nor ever hunted with one, but I'm pumped to give it a try. Feel free to give me your opinion regarding what slugs might be the best. I picked up some Hornady 300gr slugs today at 2K FPS I figure that's plenty of power.
