Finally finished the stock

Wife went behind my back and bought me a savage hs 110 338 lapua mag. Went and shot it and didn't like the cheek weld I was getting so I bought a loggerhead system and hacked it out myself. Also added two flush cups and marine texture to grip areas.

Also stock was hollow and took advantage of this and added some lead and epoxy mix to add some weight

I've been wanting to do that to my Savage with HS Precision. Got any words of advice?

Bigpig it's pretty simple I cut mine out all by hand with a hack saw blade and used marine tex for epoxy. One tip it you need a release agent so the epoxy won't stick to areas when your fitting it back to the stock. I just wrapped it with masking tape and use Pam cooking spray. Also made mine where I can take the bolt out without moving the cheek piece

How'd you do the flush cups? I've got some but haven't attempted to install them yet.

Flush cups super easy... They have out side threads. Drill the hole and tap it and red loctite em in. Took maybe 5 min and the flush cup has a hole at the bottom I also installed a screw for extra security. Cups were 7.00 tap was 12.00 on eBay
