Custom Rifle Pictures - 02/12/15 06:06 AM

We have been little busy here lately so I have not been on as much as usual so I figured was time to post a few pics of recent projects.. And NewJeep yours is next in line.

These first two were a cool story. Customer got his daughters matching 700s in 243s for Christmas. On Christmas morning they opened the factory rifles and took them apart. Then each girl picked out the colors they wanted and with a little help from dad they each painted their own stocks. We then replicated the paint job on B&C stocks and turned both guns into 6.5 Creedmoors with Muzzle brakes. The copper one is for little sister so we did have to shorten up that stock some.

Girls Paint jobs

Purple gun finished

Copper gun finished

The next gun is the gun I want when I grow up smile. Its a 6.5 Creedmoor at 26" long built on a Horizon series action in a Accurate innovations turkish walnut collectors grade stock. So pretty we put it all together wrapped in bubble wrap and with gloves on. Beautiful in my opinion.

And here is a 7 mag in an A3A5 for you tactical guys

Those are awesome!

Agree with redchevy that I love the wood stock 6.5. That's one of the best looking guns I've ever seen.

Thats a collectors grade Turkish from Accurate Innovations, They run that stock around 3,000-3,300 depending on the carving

That 6.5 is amazing. One of these days I'm going to have a rifle built on one of their stocks. Might even be a Creedmoor.

If I ever have the $ for a $3,000 wood stock, I'll die a happy fella because I' MUST have everything a man could ever ask for! I can't imagine the feeling of ever scratching that thing

Hear ya, this one is a wall piece he has 2 guns already that are shooters.

They do some less expensive ones but these have the aluminum bedding block and all the extra carvings. Price varies by how much grain the blank has

Scratching them is the best part. A rifle doesn't mean anything to me without lots of character.

That wood stocked one is a thing of beauty, know some that look great that get hunted with and until that first scratch were carried to and from the stand in a case. Know a couple more that have 2 stocks, one for show and a synthetic stock for hunting.

Nice job Derrick.

I sent a .308 action off to him a couple weeks ago for a custom 6.8 build. He has been great at answering any questions I have had and easy to get ahold of. I am looking forward to seeing what he comes up with for my rifle.

Keep up the good work bud!
