Anyone have a scar?

Been thinking about buying one but really don't know much about them. Are they practical at all for hog hunting and target shooting? Not sure I want to pony up the money yet but keep looking at them. Also what's a fair price.

I've got lots of them from burns and cuts.

They have not helped in any of my hunting and shooting endeavors.

I got mine free.

Sorry I couldn't resist. grin

They are nice guns. Are you thinking heavy or light?

They are on the expensive side. You can buy a nice ar for that much

ive shot one they was on the heavy side to me. the ar10 felt better in my hands. tanner on here had one for awhile may have to check with him.

ar10 cheaper and more money left over for optics and ammo and upgrades.

I personally don't car for them. I've shot a few and they seemed heavy and awkward. Also, the sight picture was hard for me to get comfortable with and the hold over at closer ranges was terrible. I'd invest in a M1A with bull pup conversion

I've shot one a few times. I think they're a lot of fun. They would do fine for pigs.
