New Suppressor - WOOHOO

New Suppressor - WOOHOO - 01/29/15 04:53 PM

I just pulled the trigger on my last suppressor for the AR 10 338 Federal that shoots so well my wife wants it. Finally I can shoot that cannon without getting noise complaints from the next county. Silencer shop had it in stock, so it should happen quickly. I do my own trusts, so tonight I'll add it to my trust and email that to them along with $205 for the tax stamp, and we're dun!

I have tons of large black and white hogs that go MOOO, but this gun oughta handle them...

But damnit, now I gotta finish processing/annealing all that LC 308 brass. It always something! Roseanna was right.

If by "quickly" you mean 4 months, then yes, you should have it quickly. And are you saying you shoot cows with a 338?

Heck no! I'm just gonna take all your annealing gear to the cave. Cold beer, fire, and hot brass. Now we got a party.

You pay with a credit card. They have fees. The $5 just covers their 2.5% CC merchant fees.

Well, I fired up WillMaker 2012's Trust component this morning and 20 minutes later I had a living trust in hand. I emailed that off to Silencer Shop along with $205 for the tax stamp, and I'm all done. Waiting for four months they tell me, plus three weeks to ship it to me. It was a surprise that it took the extra time to ship Texas to Texas, but the Sheriff has to be notified they tell me.

They notify the Sheriff and wait for a week to see if there's a written response. If no response, then they ship you the suppressor. I chose to road trip down and pick it up myself.

Guys, I haven't kept up with the suppressor stuff but I'm now curious about this "trust". What in the heck is this required for?

It's not required for anything. It's another way of purchasing a suppressor. Here's a good read on it:
