Not that I am touting remington, but Remington also has a 16" heavy barrel rifle with threaded muzzle in 300AAC for $500ish...

And a trigger that'll go boom even when you don't want it to.

Like I said, not touting remington... I like some of their offerings but have been burned in the past by their poor quality products, so I just don't buy anything Remington anymore...

If only Ruger, Savage, Mossberg, and others would make these little rifles in 7.62x39...

No experience with the BO, but plenty with the American. IMHO the best $$$ I have recently spent on a fire arm. An extra magazine or two is going to make your debit card scream for mercy but those and a decent piece of glass are about all you'll need to improve on a really good boom stick.

My Dad went to Academy and had one ordered. Arrived in about a week.
Slapped on the surefire flash hider for suppressor and the scope. Ready to sight in and have some fun with it this weekend after doing 200 lbs of breakfast sausage. I'll let y'all know how it turns out!

Was wondering what folks thought about these little rifles. Been thinking about one in .223 or maybe a .243, they have the right twist.

I've had one on order for a while. Was thinking about canceling and trying to pick up the american predator in .308 and shoot some subs from Chad if I want quiet. Cant decide.

Cabelas had this price yesterday, don't know if the had any .300 BO's, I was toying getting one in 6.5 Creed but the "check out" line was so long, I lost interest.

I bought a 300 BLK Savage bolt action from another member on here. Super nice little gun and my boy loves shooting it.

They had ONE - in Alaska. The gun counter manager in Lubbock also contacted Lipsy's (their Ruger distributor) and they had none.
