Late Christmas early Birthday

I finally got in my Remington 700 CDL SF 300 WM today. Bought it from Buds Gunshop the 17th. It took them forever to ship. Have a new Zeiss 4.5-14x50 ready to mount on it. Need to find a smith in the Abilene area to bed it. I did a trigger job and have it set on 2.5 lbs. this is one gun I really want to shoot.

Got the glass on her and couldn't stand it any longer. I had to shoot this thing. I may bed it later on but for now this gun will shoot Hornady factory 150 SP 3/4" in 25* weather. I think I'm going to like it.

24", just right for my purposes. Not going to be shooting over 500 yards and shooting 150-165gr bullets. Have some Hornady 165 GMX I really want to try pushed to the max.

I bought the same gun from Buds before Christmas. I have a silver Leupold VXIII 50mm on top. I shot it yesterday and its sweet! I was pleasantly surprised with the low recoil of the .300 in this model. Nice Gun!
