Christmas came early today. Love my wife.

Me and my wife were talking Thursday and I had told here I wanted to get another 7mag but I wanted to get a Remington 700 and fix it up how I want.
We went in to town today and she needed to go to Walmart and while we were in there we passed by the gun counter and I was just looking and the guy at the counter told me every gun was 20% off. All they had out was 243, 223, and 270 so I asked if they had any 7mags in the back and they had one left in Remington 700 Adl. I talk to the guy for a minute and leave then my wife goes over and starts doing paperwork and I ask her what she is doing and she looks at me and says merry Christmas I'm buying u that gun for Christmas. Got to love her I'm sure glad I got her into hunting.
So now I need ideas!!

Been married 17yrs and she has never griped about me hunting.

Mine gave me the go ahead also on a new 700 BDL 3006 Saturday. Pulled the sights off and put in studs plus trigger job. Sometime next spring I'll drop it in a new HS stock. Already have VX III 3.5x10-50 for it. Early Christmas

Picked up my scope today. Bushnell Trophy XLT 4-12x40, limb saver sling and Burris mounts. After the new year I will get new stock, bolt worked on, trigger, and cerakoted.

Also will be getting parts to make into BDL.

Cabelas had a nikon buckmaster 3-9x40 for $129. Don't know if you have a scope or not. Just thought I'd pass it on.
