I'm looking into this rifle and the AAC micro seven. For the price the ruger may be hard to beat. Thanks for posting

Any idea when these are going to hit the shelves?

I was as optimistic about this as you were. I'm going to have to look into getting one as well. Thanks for posting!

About the only thing I could complain about is that while the trigger has a clean break it has a tad bit of creep if you are picky.

But given the low price of tge gun I cant really complaign.

Yup. I read that review before, just the last nail in the coffin as far as me acquiring any new Remington firearms. Too many other manufacturers out there actually making quality products without the factory recalls on vital components. I might use a 700 action for a custom, but that's about it.

Never known a Ruger to have a good trigger. Wonder if there's a replacement available?

I thought the Americans came with Ruger's copy of a Savage AccuTrigger. I've felt the Savage trigger and it's not too bad IMO. Maybe Ruger's version isn't as good?

I've never messed with either but I wonder if they could be improved.

It is similiar to the Savage but just has a tiny bit of creep.

I like Savage's Accutrigger. I have thousands of rounds on two of them. They are safe and they don't have any creep. Guess Ruger didn't copy it very well. But I bet the Ruger would be fine based on what CCoker is saying out it.

I have been shooting my AAC Micro 7 for most of my 300 blk out shooting. I really like the rifle. Mine has the same issues with tight chambering. It is very picky about it. But it does shoot very well. I've shot some 1/2" to 3/4" groups with it. Here's my latest one with 125 Nosler BT load. I pulled the 5th round out, of course. Aiming spot was the top of the diamond.

I'd like to pull shots and still have groups like that.

I'm no fan of the caliber, but it sure looks like the American is a good rifle. Reminds me of how the 788 worked out for Remington...bad for them, but very good for me. And you too.

Unfortunately we didnt get to test the performance on game.
I will be honest, if this were offered in 6.8 I would take that over 300 as I have a ton of experience and total confidence in the round to anchor game down hard.
