We may be at the outer reach for you at about 4 hrs - We are located in Erath County on almost 5000 acres with two large self sustaining herds of red deer. Our hinds are $500 and no other fees other than if you need help caping/quartering etc readying for transport. Check out our website in link below - we'd love to earn your business.

WLR is an amazing place and great people!! When I finally decide to pony up the cash for a gemsbok I will be headed back to the WLR!! And red hind is great table fare! Thanks TGT

Thank you TGT We generally conduct our meat hunts with rifle but are definitely open to you giving it a go with the bow if we are able to get close enough which is not always a guarantee, especially towards the end of the season.

We hunted at WLR two years ago for Red Deer. We have hunted in Texas 7 times and WLR is the best Texas hunting experience we have had. Would highly recommend WLR.

Thanks venator!
You can generally expect 200-250 gutted weight on a hind.
