I just returned from a hunt for fallow, and went for the first time to Blanco Exotics. Check out their website. The property and the animals are the best I have ever seen. They have axis, fallow, blackbuck, addax, gazelle, oryx, springbok, and some really beautiful whitetails. Excellent facility for game storage, and accommodations are very nice. No refrigerator, but generator, A/C, indoor facilities, comfy mattresses (bring your own bedding). 100 yard rifle range, good as any, and box blinds, feeders, water, food plots, varied terrain and cover. You can opt for challenging or regular degree of difficulty. You will be happy you went! You will tell your hunting buddies and family. You will thank me. Family oriented, and hunter friendly.

The hunt was successful - I got the fallow doe I was after, and a very heavy one at that. I respect my fellow hunters, at least those of good intentions, and who hunt in the Indian spirit of brotherhood and the ways of the hunt. When I find a place like Blanco Exotics, I like to spread the good word. I know how frustrating, expensive, and time-consuming it can be to search out new hunting grounds, with the hope of finding something special. My post is meant to assist other hunters in that effort. I paid for the hunt. I don't think of myself as a green horn, although I seem to learn something every time I go out. You are right, I need to post pics.

OK; I totally missed that reference. Anyway, I needed to post pics, but "hired spokesperson" didn't seem overly hospitable. I know there are people who post reviews on Amazon and stuff that are bogus. Here's another pic of the doe. The ranch is quite lush, she just gave up the chase in this dry creek bed after running maybe 30 yards. The shot was into her right front shoulder, and the bullet was cut out from just under the skin in the left flank.

I have followed this ranch for several months now and have talked to the ranch mngt - they are super nice and helpful people. I will book with them most likely next year.
