We have some trophy scimitar horned oryx cows for sale. Going to take 5-6 out this year. Going to reduce the price to $1500 for the first few booked. Expect 34inches. You will probably do better, but have that as your expectation for this hunt. If you want a upper 30s, we have bulls available too for $2650. Daily fee is $200.

We are located outside of Junction, if you make it a weekday hunt for an oryx cow, I will give you 1 night cabin stay for free & cut daily fee in half if you clean it yourself (your choice).

Many other exotics available this year, fallow, blackbuck, red sheep, Nubian ibex, red stag, etc. check out our website in the sig below for more information.

Thanks
Mike

Chalk Creek is a top self operation. I had the pleasure of hunting oryx with Mike a couple years back and it was AWESOME. I had my wife and one hunting partner with me. Mike and his family treated us like old friends from the minute we drove on the ranch. I was blessed to take a beautiful 37" cow and after our hunt Mike was kind enough to take us all around the ranch to see some of the other great animals. I would 100% recommend Chalk Creek to anyone looking for a great time and some awesome animals. Plus the oryx makes for FANTASTIC table fare!

I hope so. Normally he has most of the summer off but this year he has quite a bit of work set up. I would love to get another oryx. I plan on showing my wife the deal and seeing if she would like to do it. I don't mind sitting out trigger time if it gets her a trophy.

Tempting. Do you charge extra if my wife came along? And most importantly, do you have any axis does that she could shoot? or something similar that's affordable and tastey? When would the hunt have to happen by?

Eddie, $50 non hunting observer fee. We do have axis does but they are not an easy hunt but we can probably get 1 or 2. $300 a piece in addition to a trophy.
The sooner the better on the hunt, but not a huge rush. Our lease hunters have the cabin reserved for them the last weekend of October through the end of December, so before then if you want to stay in the cabin. The first hunter(s) here will have a better selection to choose from as far as trophy quality but as I say, I will make sure to save a 34+ once I get deposits.

Thanks
Mike

If she is hunting axis does does, do I have to pay the $50 non hunting fee? She would want to try to get 2 axis does if possible. How much is the deposit? We have to be at a wedding Saturday, Oct 8th in Houston, so I'm thinking Sunday morning, October 9th through Monday morning on the 10th, then leaving later morning to drive home.

Eddie
