I was reading a story of a Nilgai hunt done in Mexico on a large ranch. The place also had Wildebeest.

Anyone have any info on ranches in Mexico. What do they charge compared to the US? Species they have?

I was wanting to go to Mexico hunting and was thinking that it would be fun and should have some bang for the buck in Mexico and decided to check into hunting down there last year, now I can not speak about every place in Mexico, only what I found when I checked into it.

I called and spoke to people from three different ranches in Mexico and found that the cost would be as high or even higher than I could find here,on deer and exotics, The deer hunts I looked at were from about $7,500 to $10,000 for deer, plus you can have problems down there with the cartel, of coarse everyone told me it was nothing to worry about anymore.

They all told me that they would let you take a management buck, a cull, a couple of does and javelina at no extra cost. So there was some extras included, I just didn't think it was worth it for me to spend the money to hunt down there.

I only remember them mentioning nilgai and aoudad as far as exotics and the cost was in the 1200 to 1500 range.

From what I could tell from pictures and what I was told they all have first class accommodations and a chance at a big deer.
