Here are some of the pics for deer next year, fallow have a ways to go and don't look very impressive this time of year so I focussed mainly on reds. Excuse the use of links, photo quality is too high to post to the forum so links are easiest.

This guy we tried to get in to velvet but he jumped 3 high fences and ended up in the bush block so we decided to sell him next year as a $500AUD cull in addition to any trophy hunt. Nice 12 but with a weak bez (2nd tine) on left antler.

I personally love this big old stag, we reckon he'll be around 40" wide when finished growing. Reckon he'll be around a $2,000AUD trophy fee.

A billy caught in the wild a few years ago and left to grow as an experiment, we estimate him at 37" spread.

This is what a 2015 monster fallow currently looks like

Yeh these guys are high fenced, I know what you mean though I've done a bit of hunting in NZ and have seen things over there. Quite often the free range deer are just high fenced stuff released, true NZ wild deer are generally quite poor, a 35" 12 pt stag is a very big deer, the norm is more around 8 and 10 pt 30" heads.
All my personal hunting is free range but it's very hard and the success rate just wouldn't be high enough for me to run guided hunts on there at this stage.
If you're interested in seeing the quality of free range stuff in australia, I posted up a thread in the exotics section a few weeks ago about red deer with some free range stuff myself and my brother have taken.
