Not sure if this is the right forum to post this. I am looking for good Meat (Goat only). Any recommendations on which animals to pick or are there any for a reasonable price? Someone is offering Aoudad Ewes for $250 but I heard the meat is not good on them. I am even open to Nubian or Boer or Nigerian Goats.
I am not looking to spend $800 because something has a horn. Looking for good meat. I can use crossbow or even trap it as opposed to shooting. Strictly looking for meat and looking for few. Let me know.

Lots of good meat goats sold at livestock auction. Check out west like near San Angelo, Junction, Eden. Shouldn't be any problem to find a boer meat goat.

I got some boer goats for sale... you can walk them home on a halter before you shoot them though.
