Showed up at ranch was greeted with a warm welcome! Which was a good thing because I needed after the hour drive I had. But in all truth we hunted in two different locations on a very large property! Did we kill anything no! But that didn't matter because in two days we saw 20-30 toms, and lots of jakes n hens. Honestly don't know why we couldn't close the constant 80yrd gap? The birds called throughout the day, and into our evening hunt. Totally recommend this guide. After all the rains we had Haiden and his team did the best they could to put us on birds. We saw plenty but putting feathers in the truck was happening. The birds clearly aren't call shy, and this is a real hunt scenario. We were able to travel a lot of property and sure if ya want to get a bird you could! But being my camera man had to capture the moment and call the shot something seemed to always be in the way. Truth is the reward was seeing the birds, seeing the hogs, and seeing some beautiful country. It's why it's called Hunting Season. And this guide will do his best. You hear horror stories, and sometimes it gets frustrating but ya just got too stick too it. For me and my fiancé we will return! Hunt Lodge was more than comfortable, and staff amazing! Opinions are great and honestly this is a great hunt! Lots of dove and quail! Tons of turkey just could get it to work. 9-10 times it's always us that bust em. And I know when tuning cameras everything had to be as good as it can! As for filming on this property we will be back! Nice animals and very healthy environment! Best of all Haiden and his team! We will get our birds might not have been but this place makes it be!
