I'm looking for a WEST texas/Panhandle turkey guide. There is an overwhelming amount of them so figured I would ask the forum for personal experiences and contact info of outfitters.Trying to weed on the garbage. I've already read some of the horror stories in other threads. Trying to be no further than 2.5 hours from Lubbock.

Would love a package of primary turkey hunting with the option to hog/yote hunt.

Thanks,

Mike

A little farther than you wanted, but I would check with Real Outfitters. I've heard nothing but praise on the services they provide. If they offered hunts in the South zone, they would be my first call.

The best dates at the best outfitters are already taken this late.

Our junction ranch borders Real Outfitters. Only 1400 acres to their 30,000 but we are right on the river and prime. Not to mention $850 cheaper for guided. Edit: I will say Mike Buie runs a 5 star joint has alot of birds and I do work with him not against him. Just so there is no confusion.
Edit again:we have thousands of acres off the red River near Wichita falls just checked it's 3hrs 18 minutes from you. Lots of birds and opening weekend is available North zone. Exact town location will be just out of Spanish Fort.
