What would you guys expect to pay for a spring turkey hunt with good numbers of birds? Predominately self-guided. West of the metroplex about 3 hours. Assume 4-5 star lodging but no meals.

2day, 2 night, 1 bird - $500.00. Each additional bird $250.00.

4-5 star lodging? That is really up there. I don't know of any turkey hunting establishment that has 4-5 star lodging. They provide you with any photos of where you would be sleeping?

I meant in relation to normal hunting camp setups. Certainly not the Ritz.

Okay, if sleeping arrangements are better than most, then I would second Gamblinman's price of $500 for one bird and $250 for another.

I think $400-$500 is a very good price. With a 2-day hunt, nice accommodations, and meals for guided hunt would be closer to $650-$700 nowdays.
Depending on the hunting, number/quality of birds - I've seen hunts of this type go up to $900-$1000.
It makes a HUGE difference when they have lots of birds and you are calling, and have a guide.

I think the cost will be according to accommodations, how close to hwy, road, convenience to a good meal since it doesn't include meals. Anywhere north of $750.
