A coworker of mine was deer hunting this weekend and had a momma bobcat and 3 half grown cubs come out. He shot the mom then the cubs ,well one of them pounced on the mom wanting to play, done this twice. Then he actually was able to kill the 3 smaller cats as well. They never ran. The rancher had seen them in his chicken coops is why he shot all 4.

Thought it was kinda odd they would hang around for 3 more shots

Same thing happens with piglets sometimes when you shoot their momma. They will run off and come back or sometimes just stay there

that is odd. I have free range chickens that get in my way sometimes when I'm shooting. they just stand there just feet away from my target and watch the bullets hit, watch the dirt fly, and they just stand there. maybe there just used to me shooting lol.

Had it happen to me when I slaughtered a family of coons. Killed 5 total, one baby got smart at the end
