Attendees will receive a briefing on sodium nitrite as an active ingredient for feral swine toxicants proposed for registry with the US EPA and Australian regulatory bodies. The presenter will describe partners and project roles while emphasizing general EPA registry requirements and timelines. Current findings on delivery methods, product efficacy, and safety will be presented as well as the next steps for the collaboration. We will also provide perceived benefits of a feral swine pesticide for Texans.
