If you can shoot i would say rifle. Just do not miss they get smart quicker than an old yote. After that a caller with the sound of running water will bring them out for some easy trapping.

You can call beavers? Yes you can with the sound of running water. No they won't come running like a coyote but they will come.

The beavers at our place have either been shot by me, shot at by me, or are too leary of a spotlight now. Might have to try the running water thing.

It will work it but may take like 6 plus hours of continual playing. They'll try to cover the speaker up with mud and sticks, so use one that's waterproof. I had to make one myself because it hard to find one that can play that long. Good luck and kill them all.

Or just buy a couple of 330 conibears and actually be effective. Set the conibears in the slides and runs (YouTube for info) and retrieve beaver next day.

i have a dozen of the 330's and 280's. I'm looking for a lure that folks might use. I'm gonna set the slides. I'm in Abilene.

A few to may dogs at this point to set traps unfortunately.....Plus it is fun to waste them with an AR-15. Shot one Friday night at the ranch spotlighting one night.
