are you usiung the dukes trap? how hard are they to set up?

I dont know what he is using, but I run Dp's in the winter and they can be pretty tough to set. I work all thirty of mine at the house, compress the spring and put a piece of PVC inside to prevent it from closing. On the line, just muscle up

Depends on the year. Got 150 dp. @300 coyote/cat traps. 100 beaver traps. It gets busy some years. I'd hate to start over

Baylor Bears, The easy way to set the DPs is with a 12" long ps of 3/8 REbar. Or a long handled Screw driver. I use 3/8 x 24"long rebar "T" bars to stake them so I always have a setter with me. Marshmellows in the bottom and on to the next set.
