It seems as if hogs have abandoned my north Texas properties for the time being. Ranchers aren't seeing any new rooting and I am not seeing or hearing any hogs when I am out hunting, but the coyotes are still around. First coyote came in at about 2 hours of trying to call hogs. A little while later, cattle invaded the pipeline sendero and that put an end to hunting in that area. The second coyote came in after about a hour at the 2nd property. In all, I spent about 6 hours in the field, seeing 3 coyotes and no hogs.

That first one had a paw already in the dirt. Hahaha

loved the pew "whack" on that first and third shot on #2.

You think this heat has driven the pigs back into deep cover? All my sign has disappeared too.

One shot is all it should take.

Oh, the hogs are around. It is just a matter of being where they are, but if you put enough pressure on them, they won't be around, LOL.
