Has anyone hunted around this area. Friend of mine has a place somewhere out that way and want me to come out and hunt. I have no experience that far west. Is it worth the trip and motel stay. Thanks

You need a lot of land to hunt anything in that part of the country.

I don't have any idea how much land he has. I know it's family land and he is coming in from Missouri in march. He has never been calling so I want to take him. He wants a cat but heck we all do. I've only been through that country a few times. I know there's not a whole lot there except for oil and gas wells.

More varmints in the Midland/Odessa area than you think. Lots of coyotes You need lots of space to hunt. We setup in the low areas and call. Pop 3-4 dogs each time.
