Thinking bout buying my first AR and I'm looking at the S&W MP 15. They retail bout 699.00. I read some good reviews so what do yall think. I've been shooting a Howa bolt rifle in 22-250. This will be for Coyotes and self defense.

Those guns are great for the price. As said above, they can be had for less. I think I got my wife's sport for 550$ on sale. As far as reliable, I've put more rounds through that gun than any other I've owned and it has performed flawlessly. We run a bump stock on it and have put thousands of rounds through the barrel and it will still shoot just over an inch group at 100 yrds. Replace the foregrip, and if you want get a better trigger and it is a good rig.

All you need is a better trigger and your in business! Several good one out there just find one that works for you.
