So, my HOME acreage backs up to a undeveloped field/creek (not corp prop); For the last 16 years - never thought about what might be out there (at night). Recently, saw some hog signs; time to setup feeder/cam: Results? Over the last several weeks, They came ... ... and came in ... ... then brought the WHOLE family . . . Time to and then Gonna be nice to fill the freezer without having to drive 6.5 hours to the ranch!

Hope you can handle the couple of minutes to get to the hunting grounds.

Nothing like walking out your back door and clicking the safety off.

That's a perfect situation for a cell cam. Phone rings, safety off, dead hogs!

Ya,I need to get a cell cam...got hogs on my property as well and that would make it so easy. I got a 'wifi' SD card that works in my game cam - works great! Wayyyy cheaper than cell-cam, and no monthly charges. Sandisk Eye-Fi SD card (8gb + wifi) Gonna do a trap; already got them going in (with it tied open); can't blast away with center-fire here. Fiddling with a 12v wireless remote to trigger gate on trap, but will can use 300ft rope if I need to!

That wifi card works better that I would have imagined.

It will work as far as you can direct a wifi signal to it; I have a wifi access point in the barn (200ft from house with wire running to house), and a Directional WIFI antenna pointed right at cam (to span the last 100ft). So cam is at least 300ft from porch, but only 100ft is going over wifi. Won't work with all game-cams; mainly because certain cams 'put the sd card to 'sleep'' before it can finish transmitting each new pic. No way to tell, just have to test from cam to cam.
