Got a small boar at the beginning of the hunt on the way in and got a bigger boar at the end of the hunt on the way out.

Somebody had asked me about the difference between daylight use of thermal and night use of thermal. This video has both. With temps in the 80s during both shots, there is really very little difference.

Nice shooting! That area holds some good hogs.

Here are the pictures of the bullet recovered from behind the ear of the 145 lb boar. It started off as a 123 gr. Hornady SST (loaded round shown for comparison). It has fragmented and lost some weight.



Hornady SST is not a bonded round. Once the dried flesh was washed off the round, the lead core separated from the jacket.
