Just got back from a 10k+ road trip thru there....amazing the number of "everything" we saw on the trip.....dove, quail, pheasant, deer, pronghorn, etc...the Dakota's, Nebraska, Wyoming, Kansas, Oklahoma....everywhere really...incredible.....

Sharpies and huns are more fun! Never got good dog work on sharpies. Huns are a lot like quail. I've hunted huns more, but last year I hunted sharpies hard in sept. I will agree, for some reason (probably warm weather and green foliage) my dogs had issues scenting them. BUT when everything came together, it was awesome. They are a wiley bird for sure, and they'll run (like huns, phez, chukar, you name it).
