where are you wanting to go? how many with you, should be able to find hunts in the panhandle, going by your self is a challenge.

Kansas has a great public walk in program
Its on the KDWP website.
My wife and I have been doing the opening week for about 15 years now.
We finish up with a guided group hunt with Don at donshuntingandfishingkansas.com
My favorite week of the year.
