My informal survey. What are guys/gals seeing as far as the average price for a quail lease in the south Texas plains, Rolling Plains, off the caprock, Edwards Plateau?
Straight lease (per acre fee) no housing included.

Where I hunt dove it is said quail lease is 250 a year, same as dove. There is somewhere in 25-30 sections to hunt maybe more.

Going rate down south is much higher than west or north

Full season rolling plains $4 to$6 per acre
South $10 to $12 per acre plus other fees and u will be lucky to find one

Lucky to find a place to quail hunt anywhere in the state right now. Have seen a few places after deer season still.

I am having trouble finding a lease for quail. Does anybody have a particular website or is it mostly by word of mouth?
