I am looking for a reputable outfitter for a pheasant hunt in north Texas or Panhandle this fall. Preferably a turnkey event with lodging, meals and guides. There will be four to five of us coming up from south Texas and we have decided to change it up a bit. This could be long term relationship depending on the outfitter.

I don't know that I would drive that far for a less than stellar hunt. Its not much further on to Kansas or Nebraska.

I spoke with Stanfield Outfitters out of Knox City, they offer a package that is all inclusive. I would rather spend my money with a Texan outfitter if possible.
We considered an out of state hunt, but we have hunts scheduled in New Mexico for Pronghorn then back out to New Mexico again for an elk hunt. One of the guys is going to Canada for a black bear hunt.
So this was a last hunt for the year for us and wanted to stay within the state.

If you are able to go to the Oklahoma Panhandle, I can highly recommend Chris Grounds and his operation: http://pheasantridgehunting.com
