My week long hunting trip turned into a family vacation hammer wife I stopped by my moms in New Mexico, then on to my brothers house in Colorado.

Finally stoping in Kansas on the way home

It was way more driving than I had planned, but everyone had fun.

Great pictures, tired dog, it doesn't get any better than that.

Quail hunting is like walking into, and out of a beautiful painting all day long. Gene Hill

Looks like it picked up a little bit for you at the end, 2 roosters in a day on public land
is pretty solid

I should have limited on the second day, I missed more than I should have. blush The birds always flushed when I least expected them to. Thats what makes it fun. Hens flushing at my feet and roosters flushing wild and far. Just when I started to figure it out, it was time to go.
