I have not had time to follow the politics this year. Anyone know the latest on the upcoming USFWS endandered or theatened listing decision? Or pending or passed Bills? I have the Utah Sage Grouse permit that runs till October 18. I am wondering if the season could be pulled out from under me.

You will be good to go for this year. Which unit are you going to box elder, diamond or Parkers? I used to take two weeks and train on the Parkers. Probably made about 6 or 7 trips there a year just to run dogs. Participated in the grouse counts being done by the university multiple times. A lot of great memories and good dog work from the Parker mountains.

We have a satellite office up there, I work for an environmental firm and we deal with USFWS a lot, and from what they are hearing you will be okay this year.
