What are you seeing ? Where and how many? Good and timely rains should've helped.

I can make 'em go! and I can make 'em whoa!
God makes 'em DO!
I carry the gun and blow the whistle.

Things are looking alot better this year. Between Dumas and Spearman I've been seeing alot of chicks. I have even seen a good number of quail chicks up NE of Spearman. Still wont be the numbers of the good years we seen 5 years ago, but things are looking good.

Not scientific by any means but I drove to Hereford from Lubbock several times last few weeks without seeing one roadside bird. In the past it was common to see several especially in the Dimmitt area. Could be the fields are so lush they do not have to hit the roadsides for food.
