I'm headed to south central Nebraska for a few days but on the way back I'd like to hit kansas for a day or two for quail/pheasant or ducks (or all of the above). Anyone have any leads or advice on good public ground to hit? You can pm me if you like.
I appreciate it.

go to Kansas fish & game, get locations of crp, I would look in the north central, don't hesitate to knock on doors, for permission.

I don't know anything about the license to bird hunt or how it works, but there is a lot of walk-in-areas in Kansas. You can locate it on their map and use google to see what the terrain looks like.

PM me what area you are looking at, and I might have a few tips for duck spots.
