 duck stamp expiration?

Hey folks,
Went to Academy today to get my license and the duck stamp. At the house, when I was putting the license in my vintage Gander Mountain blaze orange sleeve (sure to be a collectors item), I noticed that underneath the Federal Duck Stamp: QTY1 line, it says "expires 9/30/2018". The USFWS page says this: Federal Duck Stamps are valid from July 1 through the following June 30.
What gives? Do I need to go back to Academy to straighten this out? Not sure if the poor kid working the register set me up right. Or did I mess up and buy it at the wrong time? As you maybe can tell, I'm new to the duck hunting.

I imagine that is temporary until you receive your actual stamp in the mail.

I imagine that is temporary until you receive your actual stamp in the mail. That's true mine says the same thing. Usually receive physical stamp in the mail about 10 days later.
