So I got a call about 2 hours ago asking if I would like to go with a great family friend to King Ranch and dove hunt this weekend. Leaving this afternoon (friday). Everything is paid for so I am going to enjoy this like it is. A once in a lifetime place to visit for me probably. Question is, has anyone ever hunted King Ranch. I don't even see dove hunting as an offer on their website.

The King Ranch leases their land to private individuals for hunting purposes. You're probably hunting someones 1000+ acre lease on the ranch. I've hunted the King Ranch a couple times on a friends 1000 acre lease, shot a few doe and a lot of quail. While theyre mostly known for Deer, Nilgai and Quail, I'm sure there are plenty of dove to shoot down there. It's is for sure a beautiful place and I'm sure you will have a blast.
