I am having a hard time finding info on Richland Chambers Lake (not the WMA...) anyone know if duck hunting is allowed on this lake?

lol cuz they were ready to sit back and watch the show... you wont get much out of a public forum for public hunting spots. There is public hunting on the lake and the best way to get info is to call TPWD or Tarrant Regional Water District

Guys. I am not asking for spots.

I am asking, is it LEGAL to hunt duck on this lake, do you need a special permit? I understand that this is tarrant county water district? When I called they were clueless and told me to call TPWD, I am still awaiting a call back.

It is legal to hunt on the lake. Must be art least 600 foot from any structure. Shoreline is privately owned so a boat is a must.
That lake gets very rough very fast. The upper reaches are heavy timbered and hold ducks.
I would stay away from any areas with nice houses. They will call the local the local cops and gw and complain. You won't get in trouble if you are obeying the law but your hunt will probably get interrupted.

You can hunt teal as long as you have your teal tags.
