Does anybody have a white wing report for the area?

I am closer to realitos/concepcion. I will be headed down this weekend mostly to do some deer season prep work, but will take the scatter gun. If birds are moving I will make some time to shoot at them. I was down in late July and surprisingly saw good dove movement then already. I was down again in august and saw next to nothing although could have been timing a bit. I'm not sure what to expect this weekend. many of the birds I did see were whitewing. seem to be seeing fewer of the Eurasian, we've seen many in the past.

I live farther north to San Antonio, the dove had been super thick but have slowed considerably. so I would think that's an indication that they've started to move further south. hopefully a long ways south. I didn't get to hunt any in the central zone, but just see them driving around. fields that were covered up are very slow looking now.

I was just at our place last weekend working also, (Rios/Concepcion area). Probably only saw 20-30 dove, couple of them white wing, a few teal, and TONS of quail.

I was south of there in San Benito last weekend and I saw quite a few in the area. Birds have slowed around here (Victoria/Calhoun) a tad and it looks like we might get rain all weekend so it might be a pathetic South Zone opener this year. We really need a solid cool front to push another wave south.
