I hunted last few weekends in Kemp Tx. No birds down at least in the number we needed. Anyone else seeing much?

For as much water as there is, they sure seem to be concentrated in certain spots at the places I hunt. Two or three weeks ago it seemed to peak, was loaded up. Since then the numbers have been slowly dropping.

As others have said, NE TX is WAY slower than I think I've ever seen it since I moved here. Which sux, cuz I finally have a private place to hunt where I spent lots of hours and cash this summer/fall but there aren't any birds. Stuck to public the whole second split.

Yup we had tons of RH and teal earlier in season. Last week decent. Saw mallards and wigeon several 100 but wind not so good on big water today. Nothing decoyed except few stupid ringers.

Did take 15 DC Cormorants w neusance control license today. That was awesome

I have hunted every weekend of the season so far. Mostly north Texas and SE to central Oklahoma.

There has been enough birds to hunt every weekend. And I don't mean 100-200 birds. I won't hunt a spot unless i am seeing 500-1000. It has just taken a ton of scouting to find them. When I have found them they are in big bunches. The week before Christmas there were places holding 1000-2000 mallards. Shot limits easily 3 days in a row, (3 man, 4 man, 2 man). This past week I covered a ton of water and found a spot with more pintails then I have ever seen. Probably 2000 birds bunched up together. Didn't fool with that because it would of been tough to hunt them with where they were wanting to be . Got into the divers yesterday and shot 24 yesterday afternoon.

The pond hunting has been crap. I have hunted a few ponds that were always good for 12-18 birds and haven't shot more then 3. All my success has been hunting big water (public) and burning lots of fuel in the boat and truck scouting. I have never scouted this much in a season in my life. With all the great water options they have it has been s frustrating season.
