I had a slow morning today and only managed 3 mallards, one hen and two drakes. One of the drakes is larger than the ones we have shot recently and has good looking colors and I am going to freeze him for mounting. What is everyone's take on mounting a mallard? Flying, Sitting, cupping, etc? I have a wood duck sitting mount with a piece of driftwood that I really like but I just don't know about what to do with this greenhead yet. Thoughts?

I have a flying and I have a cupped mallard. And the cupped mallards are by far my favorite! Here is what mine look like!

I really like the cupped mounts but think of that one^ as more of a back peddle mount like right before they hit the water or field. My next one will be a hard cupped mount like so
