starting to see a few doves from Red River/Panhandle are showing up...
this year has been unusual acct Mid Sept we usually get a little front to push out our local birds...
and shooting sux S of 90 acct upper end of S zone...
didn't happen this yr... only mild N wind shifts which held local birds (nice)
we finally had decent shoots here just S of 90 W of SA
but they've slowly left and all the reports from Abilene thru Panhandle sound good.. they just need to get to SWTx before season end!
(which is too dahm early, IMO)
waiting to see how next yrs 90day season comes across w/dates and all...
you I-20 N guys have had a good dove season, sounds like.
and still lotsa white-wings in towns W of SA..(but'cha gotta be in the 10ring)
one good blow and they're packing...W/SW SA is maybe the best dove shooting in the State...
Labor Day white-wings are becoming a nirvana for State-Side dove shooters...
lotsa outfitters are gearing up for Sept 1 WW's...
can be a circus here.
