We noticed that the dove had really slowed down in the past week in the sunflower field I've been hunting since the opener. So the last couple of times we had teal buzz past us just past LST. Why not try a little pass shooting with steel shot if the dove weren't flying?
So we left the dove shot at home and gave it a shot this morning.
I can't believe we were able to drop 3 (lost 1)..they were moving!

We've been having a bunch of geese fly over our dove fields super low. Made me want to bust out the steel shot!
