 Opening Hunt 100 Bird Shoot

Our group couldn't get out for the official opener but our first hunt of the season on Saturday morning was Good Bull. Good food. Good friends and the celebratory breakfast ale was flowing early.  It doesn't get much better!

Nope all Morning doves. We had 7 in our group…..the guy taking the picture wasn’t fast enough to get back in the picture . We were 5 birds short of a 7 person limit of 105 because we had a “Never Ever” with us. He had only shot at clays a few times but still got 10 so he didn’t do too badly at all. He wasn’t quite prepared for “live targets”. He is hooked though and is ready to go back. Hated to tell him the birds will be fewer and flying like a drunk stunt pilot the next time we go.

Forgot to take the XF turkey choke out of the Benelli.... Saw that one over in the "Things said in a Dove Field" thread. It was tempting to "help" our newbie finish off his limit.....but that's a rodeo SM don't ride in.  You get out any BWho?

Had a jam up good time. So good so my head still hurts today.
