My bird guy is in Afghanistan and I shot a hooded merganser that I want mounted
Any recommendations?
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

Another option if you can get away (bride or girl friend approval) with it is to put the bird in a women's stocking, wrap it in a towel and freeze it. It will keep until you find someone to mount it.
