A buddy and I are heading out to Aspermont the weekend of sept 8th. Are the birds moving out that way yet? Any information would be helpful.

Opening day we had good numbers and movement. Saturday seemed to be fewer birds and they were more scattered. Had storms blow in Sat eve and it seemed to have brought birds with it cus numbers were back up this am. Limits all 3 mornings just had to work a lil harder for it Sat. This was south of Hamlin 5-6 miles.
No doubt about the AR crap, just damn shame hunters don't have self control and knowledge

By chance you have relatives there in Aspermont? have some cousin from my dads side we have not contacted in years due other family members passing decades ago. Just a thought....
hogflyer near brenham area....
hunt safe.... no birds here in the hill country, rains have certainly scattered them again!
